im in high school and i got about 2000 hours of community service. My grades arnt great but i was wondering how much can those hours help when i apply to a college?
I think colleges would also consider your volunteer hours - considering how many hours you put into volunteering...you have a great advantage. Especially, if you are applying to programs in the community/human services field (e.g. social work, ECE, etc.). Cause you volunteered many hours, I think colleges will look at that...but still try your best in school to better your chances.
